We always tell people we don’t ride, we tour. Our first tour of the year was a 39 miler through Ala Moana, Waikiki, Diamond Head, Kahala, Hawaii Kai, and Makapu’u.

Makapu`u Point Lighthouse Trail with JETAA Hawaii

Phillip invited me to join him and the rest of the JETAA Hawaii alumni to hike up the Makapu’u Point Lighthouse Trail from the Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline.  Neither of us have been on this trail before so it was great to finally check it out.  We passed by it on our circle island cycling tour and noticed a lot of people walking up.  Despite the strong winds, it was a very nice and leisurely hike.  Phillip did the whole thing in his slippahs!
